Guest tickets, or TMTs (Temporary Membership Tickets) as the CSAS calls them, enable a CSAS member to take a non-member fishing on a Society water. TMTs can be either a day ticket which runs from 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset or for 24 hours.
With the exception of Royal Windsor Racecourse, 24-hour Temporary Membership tickets may be purchased for waters where night fishing is permitted. After expiry of a 24-hour Temporary Membership ticket, another TMT will not be issued to the same member for the same venue until a further 24 hours has elapsed.
The Temporary Member must not be on Society property or be fishing unless their host is present.
TMTs can be bought in one of two ways. Either by post, in which case the letter must arrive at least 4 days before the intended visit or by e-mail, in which case the e-mail must arrive at least 2 days before the intended visit
Whichever method you choose to use, you must include all of the following information:
- your name & Membership No,
- the name of your guest,
- the fishery it is to be used for,
- the date you wish to take your guest and whether it is for a day ticket or 24 hours. If it is a 24 hour ticket, you must also state the time you wish the ticket to start.
- If applying by post you must also include a stamped, addressed envelope (1st class is recommended).
You can pay for TMTs either by sending a cheque made payable to Civil Service Angling Society or make a payment by PayPal to the account firstname.lastname@example.org If using PayPal, please mark it FRIENDS AND FAMILY or charges will be incurred.
Failure to pay in good time, without a reasonable excuse, will be treated as a disciplinary offence.
