Hambridge lumberjacks
Ian Campbell and the Hambridge team were out again today, cutting back trees blocking the path on the north bank below the top car park, and unusually, even band-aiding a tree which had a split trunk.
However, most of the day was spent trying to clear a very large tree which had fallen into the river just below Tumble Bay. While most of it was cut back and pulled clear, there is still some work to do tidying up the rest, and that will be attended to on the next outing. (To be honest after six hours Ian, Mark and me no longer had the energy or enthusiasm!).
