We started the match early hoping to catch fish before it got too hot, at 9am it was 22°. The fishing was very slow and and we were all struggling for bites. The only fish that were feeding were trout, quite a few were caught, but we can’t weigh trout in on matches. It was a very hard day’s fishing and very little was caught. I hope that we get some rain in the week , as we are back on the Kennet next week.
