Ian Campbell and team met at Hambridge this morning, at Bull’s lock car park. The rest of the North Bank was finished, and work was completed on the south bank. Swims were strimmed, and branches and hedges were cut back where necessary. A tree that had come down on the south bank was removed.
On the South Bank the path and swims have been cleared all the way from Bulls Lock to Tumble Bay. There is a short section above Tumble Bay where the ground is still very soft and a bit of a mess following the SSE work. So, until that improves, you’re probably better off accessing the swims above Tumble Bay from the road bridge – the path and swims have been strimmed.
