Sunday’s match was a very cold windy day, but the canal had a good colour after the previous day’s storm. I was very glad to see we had a regular that tries hard every match and this time he won. The winner of the Reg Dance Trophy is Derek Bunce. 

1st Derek Bunce 6Ib 2oz – fished the whip & caught roach and skimmers. 

2nd Alan Muller 5Ib 12oz – fished the waggler & caught roach and skimmers. 

3rd Roger Mellon 5Ib 8oz (last year’s winner) – fished the waggler & caught roach and skimmers 

4th Les Cole  5Ib3oz – fished the pole & caught roach and skimmers

5th David Edes 5Ib 2oz – fished pole & caught roach and skimmers

6th Mark Davison  2Ib 8oz – fished the pole & caught roach and skimmers

7th  Paul Sanders  2Ib 2oz – had a good perch 1Ib 12oz, the rest were roach. 

8th  Trevor Cottam  15oz – fished the feeder, all roach. 

Every member that fished caught, which makes Kintbury a good winter venue. The only downside was our meal was cancelled because of the storms.  It caused a power outage which closed the pub’s kitchen. Some of the guys ended up in McDonald’s.
