I think it was enjoyed by all, as always a great atmosphere, a very friendly match, informal and fun. Some good fish came out and thanks to the Estate and, in particular, Tim for providing the venue and passing on £100 for the biggest pike.

Paul Hollis won it with a cracking fish of 15 pounds 8 ounces and more or less cleared up on the prize money! Paul made a very generous donation at the end and altogether there is £130 to put aside to pass on to the children’s charities again.

Three more matches to go, all are welcome, by all means pass it on, December 8th being next.

Fish of 15/08 (Tim holding it in the photo); 12/09; 8/06; 7/04; 5/04; 3/10 and once again Mick Ransom had a duo of fish – 2/07 and 1/06. Steve Bolton had a very good eel as well of I think 2/07.

Steve Crowley
