The river was low and clear. making the fishing hard. I was getting texts from members asking me ‘Are you catching?’  It seemed that we were all struggling to catch. I was getting some small fish, but about 3.30pm, a cormorant came up about 2ft from the bank. After that, I didn’t get another bite, it must have spooked the fish.
