We knew that it was going to be a hard match. We were up against a very hard frost. So, it was going to be fine lines and small hooks. Most seemed to be using pole tactics,  and punched bread. It seemed like the first pegs were fishing better, and Les Cole had a good bag of roach, all on punched bread. A newcomer to our matches, Paul Sanders, also did well with a good net of roach.
