We were expecting a decent days fishing,  with warm and overcast weather.  But surprisingly the fishing was very slow. The dace and roach were not feeding. We just caught a few perch. I was using  a whip, and also long rod. I was standing in the river, down the edge. Around 1pm a boat came very close to our bank, going quite fast. It caused a big wash that knocked over our bait stand and we lost all our bait. So we only had a few hours fishing, so we packed up and went home. I won’t tell you what I called the guy in the boat.
