What a lovely day at Kintbury today, overcast, with a nice warm breeze. It was a bit busy on the towpath, with plenty of  dog walkers and some bikes, but it didn’t affect the fishing.  Mark Davison & I went above the bridge,  and fished the wides. We were both trying to see if we could get the bream to feed, but they weren’t interested. Les Cole  and Jeff Fisher both fished below the wides, Jeff on the whip, and Les on the pole. Les won the match with some very  big perch. His best perch was 2Ib 4oz with another of 2Ib. He also lost 6 big perch. 

1st Les Cole 14Ib mixed bag mostly perch. 

2nd  Mark Davison  8Ib 9oz, mixed bag.

3rd Jeff Fisher 7Ib 9oz mixed bag. 

4th Richard Cowling  3Ib 7oz, mixed bag.
